Avidemux
Below you will find application bundles for MacOSX. I have had help from Mean and Gruntster. You will find Gruntsters page with Windows builds here. The binaries presented here are in the MAC .dmg (compressed) disk image format. Once downloaded you can double-click the disk-image and it will open. You can drag the avidemux2_gtk.app or avidemux2_qt4.app anywhere you like but the Applications folder is normally the most appropriate one.
Note: If you want the latest builds, check the SVN builds (note: Currently the 2.4.4 build is the most current stable build for OSX). Avidemux 2.5.1 MacOsx SVN builds
The 2.5.1 build is also bleeding edge. Please try it and let me know what's still wrong with them. It currently runs on Leopard, most certainly also on Snow Leopard. It doesn't run on Tiger.
Avidemux 2.5.0 MacOsx SVN builds
The 2.5.0 build is really bleeding edge. Please try them and let me know what's still wrong with them. It currently runs only on Leopard.
Do I need the QT4 or the Gtk-Quartz build and what does it mean? Avidemux 2.4.3 MacOsx SVN builds
Avidemux 2.4.3 MacOsx Milestone builds (See What's New)
Avidemux 2.4.2 MacOsx Milestone builds (See What's New)
Note: As of 2.4.2 the Gtk-X11 builds are no longer supported. The Gtk builds are now compiled for native MacOsx quartz.
You can check the Avidemux svn logs for the Avidemux changes.
You can check the MacOsx package logs for the changes in the MacOsx packages.
Application Shells You'll find here a .dmg containing two small "script applications" in "Application_shells". You can place these applications in your dock or your Applications folder. Please note that these "script applications" don't contain avidemux!! They only work with the applications you created yourself. I wrote a kind of "Howto" on the avidemux forum. You can read that here. If you want a complete bundle, see table above.
